Baptism of Albert David Nomura on 23rd June in the “Unitarian and Free Christian Tradition”.
The Warwick Unitarians were delighted to fill the Chapel on June 23rd for the Baptism of the newest member of the Nomura family. Elaine welcomed her grandchild Albert in front of a wide range of family and friends in a service beautifully and sensitively taken by Diane Rutter from Kingswood Meeting House.
They exploited again the acoustics of the building with fine piano playing by friend concert pianist and composer Rob Colley, who included a beautiful piece composed for the occasion called Lullaby for Albert, and with a sadly rare performance by Elaine’s son Lance who has sung professionally at various prestigious places around the world.
It was a fabulous occasion, blessed in this unreliable summer with a lovely day which encouraged the guests to use the Chapel garden too.
